Bar 117 is Boom Chicago’s new theatre bar in one of Amsterdam’s unique theatre buildings which celebrates it’s centenary in 2013. The new interior of the old foyer – and the Bar 117 logo -were inspired by the rich history of this cultural heritage building. Tall elegant spaces, pristine stained glass windows and timber beams are combined with industrial steel, retro furniture and warm wood to create the cosy, chique and welcoming atmosphere that Boom Chicago was looking for in their new home. The renovation was coordinated from design to completion within a few weeks.
