The facades of the new dwellings in this urban regeneration neighbourhood are a translation of exciting, versatile and adventurous inner spaces. An astonishing result of unusual solutions for an affordable housing development built with a low budget. Five specific designs were carefully composed using mirroring and repetition – even in the details – to avoid a sense of individualism as a caricature but instead to create a coherent, collectively designed street. Thus adding new typologies and new opportunities in an post-war neighbourhood badly in need of revitalization.
