The construction of The Baronie commences this week in Abcoude - almost time to celebrate!

Sold out in only four months, and with building permission issued all is set to go for realisation of The Baronie!

Abbink X Co has been nominated for the Lieven de Key Award 2013 for the inner city regeneration project, Palmarum.

This inner city area of Haarlem, plagued by rotting foundations, called for an infill exercise in architectural modesty. The existing roof-landscape was taken as inspiration for an expressive roof which creates dramatic spaces in this social housing project.

This multifunctional building houses a new concept in the city centre of Amsterdam.: an extension of the neighbouring Montessori school, a childcare centre, the school gym, a rooftop greenhouse and the local community centre.
